When we first moved in with the Lopez Perugachi family, they had a couple of pigs. These pigs, according to Susana, were "irrational." They squealed a lot, letting everyone around know that they needed more food and more often. Worse than the squealing, though, was the fact that they started eating their own poo. Yeah, gross. Apparently this is not normal, and is a sign of irrationality. So Susana sold them off and got a couple of new pigs. These pigs were better, and smarter. In fact, one of them learned how to prop herself up in the window to await the slop. Here she is in her classic pose.
While Susana thought that this pig was better, eventually this one got on her nerves as well. Pigs are relentless at rooting pretty much everything around them. This pig kept rooting at the blocks around the window and succeeded in knocking off a couple of cinder blocks. In order to keep the pig from knocking down the place, Carlos tied one of its front hooves to one of the back ones. This made it impossible for the pig to prop itself up in the window or root around up where it could knock the walls down.
